Why Trammel Rocks Fel

After the problems with logging in, I went to trammel with my boyly (Dancekid M) to find a fight or two. Upon arriving I found 2 oranges, and one of them stood aside and watched two of us fight. After I won a close fight, I fought another guy called Lady Eowyn, as Sir Lord Green watched on his Dexer. He did NOT interfer and let us fight. I returned the reg I had looted from Lady Eowyn, and I was very very lucky to actually win the fight.

I am not trying to boast at all, what I am trying to say is the fact that you can log onto a mage character, go to trammel, and fight 1 vs 1 without getting annoying dexers running after you in follow mode is something that was never possible in Felucca.

Why Euro rocks Drachs

After the problems with logging in, I went to Buccs Den with my girly (CJ Swishbass) to find a fight or two. Upon arriving I found 2 oranges, and one of them stood aside and watched two of us fight. After I won a close fight, I fought another guy called Agent Orange, as X Lord X watched on his Dexer. He did NOT interfer and let us fight. I returned the reg I had looted from Agent, and I was very very lucky to actually win the fight.

I am not trying to boast at all, what I am trying to say is the fact that you can log onto a mage character, go to Buccs Den, and fight 1 vs 1 without getting annoying dexers running after you in follow mode is something that was never possible on Drachs.









Here we see how you can simply choose not to fight for a moment to discuss what is going on. No aggro (ok, there are a few people who are aggro :) ) and most of all a lot of fun and team spirit.

There seems to be some kind of unwritten law on this shard, where if you 1 vs 1 (with mage) you don't use pots, but you can use Magic Reflect, Ra etc. It's with looting, and generally people do stick to it.

So, if other TC's who are currently not sure what to do with themselves, perhaps consider this shard an option :).

Lost in the past..

As Wood and a few TC's are still in AO, I decided it would'nt be a bad idea to get friended to some of the houses at TC Valley (on Drachs) so we dont lose them.

As Wood had not seen precast at all, I thought originally he (sorry SHE) would be surprised with all the changes. Instead, well, lol..

Euro Team Cow

After being semi harassed by people asking to join tc I decided to write a quick news on what is actually happening atm. This is for the euro TC.

Currently as you can see 2 news down we have taken 2 new members, Gromit and Fett. Due to this we will not be taking any new members for another Month.

In the meantime you wish to put your name down for the test duels to join TC you will need to write an email to:

Within this email I will need to know the Character name, stats and skills with which you wish to try out for TC with. I would also be helpful if you contained an icq contact number and some sort of reason for you wanting to join TC.

Please remember TC is not just a pvp guild, we are also a family and therefore dont take any anti social people.
We are mainly a mage guild, so if you wish to join tc only bring your mage characters.

At the end of the test duels we will choose 0 to 2 people to enter into TC test week. Well we really should call it TC test month, it depends on how quickly you intergrate into TC.

The MP3 Battle..

Seeing that my PC is somewhat ill atm, I decided to join various mIRC rooms from various old enemies on Drachs. Seeing that the EBR room was empty, and i am not on the top 10 people we want to marry list with the RUN massive, I decided to join the ICE room. To all who do not know ICE, they are also a long standing PvP guild like TC. We had a lot of fights with them over the years, and never really got into nasty fights, because both sides respected each other.

As I had seen Geo and Clarko with a simple proggie that you stick in your winamp folder under plug-ins, which then shows the other people in the chat rooms what you are listening to. As I am a complete newbie to mIRC, it obviously took me 2.5 hours to work out how to use it. Once worked I out how to do it, I showed off some of my lEEt ambient tunes and some oldstyle (no not oldschool) rap off to some ICE ppl, who all wanted to know where to get the proggie.

After about 10 mins, then whole of the two mIRC rooms were covered with various music related debates. Now, I know this doesn't seem like much, but it shows who is into what, and shows that all of us are people who listen and need music to live, and perhaps even brought us somewhat closer together.

I cannot remeber the exact name of the proggie, but just go to www.google.co.uk and enter "Winamp mIRC" and you should see it :).

New recruits



Gromit and Fett left their guild Xlords [XL], and joined us a few days ago. They will get a one month test time, but we all have high hopes for them both.

I have said this before, but let me clearify the terms of TC one more time. You CANNOT just join TC, we have a restricted number of members, and there REALLY is no use in constantly annoying Wood (Wood is NOT on Euro) or any other TCs about joining. We all look out for people who in our opinion could fit the guild, so if you want to join, let us see you fight.

Also, if you know us from Drachenfels, and have decided to come to Europa as well, that does NOT give you a free ticket into TC. Atm our IRC room is half full with non-TCs. Atm that is not a real problem, but if it gets to the point where it becomes a general chat-room, we will privatise it. This may sound harsh, but we don't want all our lEEt hAxXXoR pvp tactics leaking out TOO much :).

Apart from that, we really really aprichiate all of the nice posts on our forum, we are beginning to feel more and more at home here, and I would just like to thank all of you Europa people for being so nice to us.

As the late (no shes not dead, dont worry :) ) Tanja of the once mighty BOH guild so famously said, "See you on the Battlefield".

So where are we all from?

It came to my attention, that all of us have nicknames, that come from our main chars (yes yes I know, state the obvious StoDy). But what I want to know is where each of us got the idea for our name from?

I will start updating this news page with a few people, and the gradually add more people as I get more information.

I'll be extremely aragant and start with myself (as it will take rest ages to get their arse in gear :) ).

StoDy: I was formally called WaNker JoHnson, but due to the discust of some moron in Occlo, GM Spitfire offered me the chance to change my name, to which I told him to "fuck off and die". He said if I don't give him a name within 10 secs he would give me a stupid name. As i was quite drunk at the time, I decided to have the name "StoDgy" (stodgy is basically when say a cake is a big well, hmm lol i dont know :) ). But i accidently wrote StoDy. He changed the name, and it took me about 2 months to realise that my name was infact StoDy and not StoDgy. Sums me up really doesn't it? :).

Orion: Decided to be a starwatching hippy and stole his name from the formation orion nebula (how sweet ^^). Smoke was taken from Mortal Kombat.

Apidya: His dexer name (Apocalypse) was taken from the movie Apocalypse now. Apidya was taken from an old Amiga game, although the name isn't quite the same, thats his origin ^^.

Woodstock: A lot of people have debated whether or not Wood's name is taken from the music festival or the bird in Snoopy :). In fact, the char was intended to become a lumberjack and chop trees (Wood - stock) :).
Its amazing the way things change isn't it?

BFG: People wonder whether or not the name is taken from the big bad gun in Quake (Big fucking gun) but in fact that is far from the truth. When UO was released, BFG heard that it was an online roleplaying game, and he thought it would have things like giants in it and other creates, so he took his name from the book "the Big Friendly Giant", thus calling himself BFG.

Sion: Sion is actually the word for utopia, a place of perfection, Crofax was a name of a miner on DF who he knew, he quit and sion took the name as a sign of respect and to keep him in his memory.

Jin: She got her name (Jin-A) from her best friend in America (her rl name). As Jin is Korean, she wanted to follow certain rules of her culture, and in Korea, brothers and sisters have similer names, so she wanted to make her UO chars with similer names, such as Jin-I (same family as Jin-A). She named her Europa char Jinny Poo after Ervin kept calling her that, isn't that sweet? :)

Ervin: Erv's first char was called "Dove from Above" (on cats) and was named after a section of the well-known English comedy quizshow "Shooting Stars". As Ervin and Ivan (Bloodstone) moved from Cats to Drachs, they decided they wanted to be "brother" chars, and came up with the idea of the Bloodstones, and the name Ervin (pure imagination). Erv told Ivan to call himself "Ivan" after KrAzY IvAn (triple X) ^^.

Yume: Yumesenshi comes from the Japanease and is translated as "Dream = Yume" and "Fighter = senshi" so "Dreamfighter". Yume had this name in Diablo1 (oLdsChOoL) and on Cats then Drachs ^^.

That will be all for now (as there arn't anymore TC's on atm) but if you send me an ICQ with where you got idea for your name from (if you are a TC), I will post it when I have another group of them.

The state of Europa, and congrats to Onion!





After one month on Europa, Orion is the first TC to get to 7x GM. The rest of us are coming along, Marshal has GM resist already, but is working on his taming (n00b ^^). Jinny is currently doing her magery and medi, Boom is finishing off his magery and BFG is close to 6x with 90 resist. Denise (our new Test member (ex-SoA)), like me, also is 6x and just needs resist.

Theristis is away atm, but he will be working on his char when hes back.

All in all, those TCs warring seem to be having a great time, and we are making some new friends who visit us in mIRC and on our forum, as well as some people who don't like us very much. :)
